Scintillator Arrays for PET, CT, SPECT and X-Ray Imaging Modules

ATR Crystal supplies custom pixelated scintillator arrays, also written as pixellated arrays, for compact detector modules. Available array materials include LYSO(Ce), BGO, GAGG(Ce), CsI(Tl), CdWO4 and other crystal designs for SiPM, PMT, PSPMT, photodiode and detector module integration. Arrays can be specified by pixel size, final pitch, reflector, coupling method, packing geometry, readout face and photosensor matching for PET, SPECT, CT, X-ray imaging, security inspection and high-resolution radiation detection.

Pixellated Array Selection Questions

What information is needed for an array quote?

Please provide material, pixel size, pitch, array dimensions, reflector type, surface finish and readout method. A drawing is strongly recommended.

Can arrays be made for SiPM readout?

Yes. Pixel geometry, surface treatment and reflector choice can be reviewed according to SiPM or photodiode coupling requirements.

Which material is suitable for PET?

LYSO(Ce) is widely used for PET and TOF-PET because of its density, timing performance and emission characteristics.
