

CdWO4 Array
Cadmium Tungstate, CdWO4, is a high-density, high-atomic-number scintillator distinguished by its relatively high light yield. With an emission maximum at 475nm, it delivers a total light output of 12 to 15 photons/keV, achieving a light yield of 30% to 50% relative to NaI(Tl) on a bialkali PMT. Furthermore, CdWO4 offers exceptional radiation resistance and possesses absolutely no intrinsic radioactive background. Consequently, CdWO4 arrays are extensively utilized in rapid inspection applications, including security scanning systems for luggage, shipping containers, and vehicles. Its unique combination of high light output and low afterglow also makes it highly suitable for both medical and industrial Computed Tomography (CT) scanners.At Atr Crystal, we supply custom CdWO4 linear and 2D arrays precisely tailored to our customers' specifications.
