SPM100 Light Guide
The SPM100 light guide is a critical component in scintillation detectors, meticulously engineered to efficiently transmit light from the scintillator to the light collection device, such as a Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) or Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM). The SPM100 is fabricated from premium-grade polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) imported from Germany. Crucially, the PMMA we utilize is produced via a specialized casting process. Compared to standard extruded PMMA, our cast PMMA delivers significantly superior optical transmission properties and a notably longer service life.At Atr Crystal, we can precision-machine the SPM100 light guide into a diverse array of geometric profiles, including rectangles, cones, fishtails, wedges, and flat strips. Furthermore, we offer comprehensive customization services, enabling us to manufacture light guides perfectly tailored to the specific mechanical and optical requirements of your detector systems.
